SchedulePost ("we", "us") helps you schedule and automatically publish posts to your connected social accounts. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we handle it.
Information we collect
- Account info. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo.
- Beta waitlist.If you join the beta tester waitlist from our landing page, we store the email address you submit (and, optionally, your name and what you'd like to use the AI agent for) so we can contact you about early access. You can ask us to remove it at any time — see "Data retention & deletion".
- Connected social accounts. When you connect LinkedIn (or other platforms), we store the access tokens needed to post on your behalf, along with your platform display name and member ID. Tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Content you create. The posts, images, schedules, and settings you add to the app.
- Operational data. Basic logs needed to publish your posts reliably and diagnose failures.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To publish the content you schedule, to the platforms you choose, at the times you set.
- To power optional AI features (drafting, planning, and pre-publish review). When you use these, post content you submit is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate or review that content.
- To notify you about failures if you enable alerts.
- If you joined the beta waitlist, to email you about early access to the AI agent and related product updates. We don't use waitlist emails for unrelated marketing, and every message includes a way to opt out.
Third-party services
We share data only as needed to provide the service: with Google (sign-in), the social platforms you connect (e.g. LinkedIn, to publish your posts), and Anthropic (only when you use AI features, and only the content you submit). We do not sell your personal data.
Data storage & security
Your data is stored in our PostgreSQL database. Social access tokens are encrypted at rest. We restrict access to operational needs, but no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Data retention & deletion
You can disconnect a social account at any time, which removes its stored tokens. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us; we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law. If you joined the beta waitlist, you can ask us to remove your email at any time by emailing [email protected].
Your choices
- Disconnect any social account from the Connections page.
- Cancel or delete scheduled posts at any time.
- Stop using AI features to stop sending content to our AI provider.
- Ask us to remove your email from the beta waitlist at any time.
Children
SchedulePost is not directed to children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
