What's new

Currently on v2.3.0. Every notable update lands here.

v2.3.0Generate post images with AI, schedule your impact, all-time engagement trend
June 28, 2026
  • Every post in AI Studio can now carry a visual: a green-tick “Image recommended” prompt generates one with AI from the post's own content — or upload your own — on every platform, not just Instagram.
  • Turn your results into a post: the “Share your impact” card now writes a platform-native post for you and schedules it, with the impact image attached, so your engagement lift goes straight onto your calendar.
  • The AI Orchestra impact card now shows your full history with an “All time” / recent-weeks toggle on reactions-by-week, instead of only the last few weeks — and opens as a full-screen overlay with the whole image visible.
v2.2.0Share your impact, find your best time to post, clearer LinkedIn analytics
June 28, 2026
  • Share your AI Orchestra impact as a branded image — the engagement lift, the AI-vs-by-hand comparison and your reactions-by-week, with a ready-to-paste caption — straight from the Analytics page.
  • New “Best time to post” heatmap on the Analytics overview: a weekday-by-hour grid of your average reactions, so you can see exactly when your audience shows up and schedule into your sweet spot.
  • Clearer LinkedIn analytics — the LinkedIn tab now uses LinkedIn's own words (Engagements, Reactions, Reposts) and no longer shows misleading zeros when only an aggregate number is available.
  • LinkedIn now counts in the all-platform engagement breakdown: the engagement from your imported LinkedIn analytics is measured alongside every other platform instead of dropping out.
v2.1.0Import your LinkedIn analytics — real reach, matched to your posts
June 28, 2026
  • Added a LinkedIn analytics import to the Analytics → LinkedIn tab. LinkedIn's API never exposes post reach, so we let you upload the “Aggregate Analytics” .xlsx you download from LinkedIn — we match its top posts to the ones you scheduled here (by LinkedIn activity id) and fill in the real impressions and engagements, reporting how many of the file's posts matched.
  • The upload also surfaces account-level analytics from the same file: impressions and engagement trends over the period, follower growth, and audience demographics (top companies, locations, seniority and more). Re-uploading refreshes the numbers instead of duplicating them.
v2.0.0Free tools, 20 in-depth guides, and a brighter app
June 27, 2026
  • New free tools hub at /tools — a set of no-login utilities for the everyday work of posting: a multi-platform character counter, a thread splitter (the same logic SchedulePost uses to publish threads), a bring-your-own-key AI cost calculator, a UTM link builder, and an engagement rate calculator.
  • Published 20 new in-depth guides on the blog: ten on how we build SchedulePost and how the BYOK AI Orchestra compares to other tools, and ten growth playbooks for turning it into real audience growth. The blog now groups posts by intent and cross-links throughout.
  • Brought the vivid, colourful gradient backdrop from the AI Studio and Analytics to the whole app, so every page feels of a piece — and tuned it to read just as well on mobile.
  • Fixed the marketing landing page on mobile: the hero headline, copy, and agent cards no longer run off the screen, and the signed-out header is cleaner without a redundant menu drawer.
v1.1.0Free AI Studio with your own key + a redesigned Analytics
June 27, 2026
  • AI Studio is now free on every plan — including Free — once you add and verify your own Gemini or Anthropic API key in Settings. Because your provider bills your usage directly, the key (not the plan) unlocks the AI orchestra. Paid Creator/Pro plans still add unlimited scheduling, more connections, teams, recurring posts, and analytics export.
  • Redesigned Analytics around one question: how much is the AI Orchestra lifting your social media? A new impact hero shows the engagement lift of AI-written posts versus posts written by hand, a head-to-head average, and a week-by-week timeline — all in the AI Studio look.
v0.1.6Instagram publishing fix — post to the connected account
June 15, 2026
  • Fixed Instagram posts failing to publish. The app was addressing the publish endpoint by the account's numeric id from sign-in, which Instagram's publishing API doesn't accept as a loadable object (it returned “object … cannot be loaded”). Posts now publish against the connected account directly, so image and carousel posts go through.
v0.1.5Instagram connect — clearer token-exchange error
June 15, 2026
  • When Instagram accepts the sign-in but rejects the step that upgrades the temporary token to a durable 60-day one, the app now says so clearly instead of showing a generic error. This rejection means the Instagram app's setup on Meta needs attention (it must use “Instagram API with Instagram Login,” be in Live mode, and have the required permissions approved) — the request the app sends is already exactly what Instagram documents.
  • Removed an automatic method-switch retry on that exchange that never actually helped and only masked the real error.
v0.1.4Instagram connect — long-lived token exchange diagnostics
June 14, 2026
  • Isolated Instagram connect failures to the exact call that upgrades the temporary sign-in token to a durable 60-day token, using the 0.1.3 connect-flow logging. (A method-switch retry added here was later found not to help and was removed in 0.1.5.)
v0.1.3Instagram connect fix — read the new sign-in response format
June 14, 2026
  • Fixed the real cause of Instagram connections failing: Instagram's current login returns the account details wrapped in a slightly different format than before, so the app wasn't seeing the account id and fell back to a profile lookup that Instagram rejects. The app now reads both formats, identifies the account directly from sign-in, and connects reliably. Added detailed connect-flow logging to pinpoint any future issue.
v0.1.2Instagram connect reliability fix
June 14, 2026
  • Connecting an Instagram account is now established entirely from the secure sign-in step and no longer depends on Instagram's profile endpoint, which had been returning an error and blocking the whole connection. The @username is fetched separately and filled in when available.
v0.1.1Instagram connect reliability fix
June 14, 2026
  • Connecting an Instagram account no longer fails when Instagram's profile lookup is briefly unavailable — the account is now identified from the sign-in step, so the connection succeeds and the @username fills in on a later reconnect.
v0.1.0SchedulePost — schedule and auto-publish across your socials
June 6, 2026
  • Plan, write, and auto-publish posts from a single calendar — connect LinkedIn, X, Mastodon, Bluesky, Facebook, and Instagram, with a background worker that posts each one when it's due.
  • Two roles, decided by one setting (GOD_MODE_EMAIL): God mode (the admin) gets unlimited posting, every AI feature, and the admin dashboard; everyone else is a Free user with up to 5 scheduled posts a week.
  • AI co-writer, day planner, and a weekly content agent (God mode) plus analytics, bulk and recurring scheduling, and email/Slack failure alerts.
